When it came time to select batteries, two things became immediately apparent: First, there is not as much room in the LT-25 as a cursory look might lead you to believe; and second, without that chunk of iron out there on the nose, it gets tail heavy in a hurry. I first attempted to use the standard 4-cell battery configurations where the cells are in sets of two, end to end. But it was a chore getting them to pass through former “A” (See photo at right.), plus the fact that half the weight of the batteries would be aft of former “A”. Not good for weight distribution. What to do?
