Yak 55

There is a raft of foam Yak 55s out there, each claiming to be the final word on 3D trainers. But none have yet managed to match the reputation and high acclaim garnered world-wide by the Yak 55 by RC Factory.  It is loved by beginners and experts alike. A beginner can set modest throws on the controls of this airplane and learn to fly on it. Then, as his skills, improve and he becomes a proficient 3D pilot, he can increase the throws and do maneuvers that will make his hair curl.
And speaking of throws. The ailerons on this Yak 55 represent nearly 50% of the wing area and more so on the elevators and the horizontal stab. The wing has a semi symmetrical airfoil letting it groove like a “real” airplane–unlike flat  wings  with square leading edges that  result in pitch  sensitivity.
